I'll go back to you as soon as possible. I'm also looking for a portable version of GTA 4 but the only thing I can find are cracked ones. Well, if you want a cracked one just say so.
i can assure you that there's no virus in the game. it's a full rip ISO image file so there's no virus in it. i think it's just the settings of your antivirus.
a portable version is where you could just copy and paste all the files anywhere and run the .exe file
a rip version is almost like the portable version. it is a pirated copy of the game where some unimportant files are remove or converted to smaller file size like wav to mp3.

a cracked version is where you'll run certain files that will do something on the game files. it's pretty much like installing a pirated OS then run the activator

the above statements are merely just base on what i know so you can correct me if i got something wrong.
Q: is the cracked version has a longer file size than a portable version? A: it depends. portable versions are a copy of all files of the game and so as the cracked version for they are the game itself, only that some of its files are overwritten. an example of this is when the game is block by some message that you can't continue playing with game unless you register and pay for it. the crack files will prevent this.
but one thing's for sure, rip files have smaller file size than cracked and portable version.
Q: and what if it was my first try using a cracked version, how can i install it properly? A: first install the game, then the files that will be use to crack the game will have its own instructions but most likely it just like an installer file.
